Dr. Michael Guillén, author, former Harvard physics instructor, and former award-winning science editor at ABC News, has used AI tools on his own desktop computer to create a documentary based on his book of the same title, The Invisible Everywhere: Believing is Seeing.

According to the film's trailer, the aim is to look closely at what cannot be seen via science and with that awe and wonder, to explore what that invisibility means about the nature of faith and the world around us.

"If I still lived by the motto 'seeing is believing,' I'd be blind to most of what's real," Guillén said, disclosing his past as a committed atheist. "Today, because of what I've learned on my long, winding journey, I now can see the invisible creator — It's a journey that changed my life forever."

Drawing some ire for his newly adopted beliefs on social media, he wrote in the lead-up to the film's release on April 8, "The belief that science will eventually answer all of life's deep mysteries is what I call the 'science of the gaps.' I used to believe that. But I have found it to be wishful thinking."

The Invisible Everywhere film will be available exclusively on Guillén's website, www.theinvisibleeverywhere.com.

Regarding the use of AI technology in making the documentary, he described the technology as enabling "the power of one."
