The Institute for Religion in an Age of Science is continuing its free monthly webinar series with a presentation from Rabbi Dr. Bradley Shavit Artson on science and religion as partners through the lens of Judaism.
Rabbi Artson will explore how science and religion can offer complementary pathways to enhance our humanity, augment our sense of wonder at the world and all it contains, advance a human commitment to expand knowledge, and foster healing and repair the world, according to the event announcement.
Rabbi Artson currently holds the Abner and Roslyn Goldstine Dean’s Chair of the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies and is vice president of American Jewish University in Los Angeles. His interests, as a member of the Philosophy department include theology, ethics and the integration of science and religion.
The event was scheduled to be held on Oct. 19 but has been postponed.
